(記者黃秀麗新北報導)走進中和莒光路的「牛旋風」，可以看見店內許多跟籃球相關的塗鴉和裝飾，甚至連牆上的牛排餐點介紹，走的也是籃球主題風格，在在顯示老闆陳銘勇對於籃球的熱愛。但是，曾把籃球視為生命的陳銘勇，踏入社會卻放棄最愛，第一份工作是去「搞工程」，之後人生再轉一個大彎，從營造業踏入牛排餐飲業。究竟陳銘勇為什麼願意放棄籃球夢？他又是如何從營造業轉進，讓自己的店在一級牛排戰區突圍？
99年時，陳銘勇和妻子在永和開設了第一間店「鬥牛」。因為喜歡籃球，所以店內裝潢，是較為誇張式的手繪籃球風，加上價格親民，吸引不少年輕人和學生成為主顧。陳銘勇回憶說，當初經營「鬥牛」，有長輩跟他反映「店裡的裝潢太年輕了，我們都不敢進去，」長輩的提醒言猶在耳，又碰巧因為店面租金談不攏，讓陳銘勇燃起換址重新營業的念頭。103年，陳銘勇轉戰中和莒光路的「牛排一條街」，夫婦倆把「鬥牛」改名為「牛旋風」，在廝殺激烈的戰場中逐漸站穩腳步。
「牛旋風」客源穩定成長，不過開放式廚房與用餐空間，常常彌漫著牛排油煙味，讓陳銘勇傷腦筋。在親友建議下，陳銘勇申請了「新北市政府幸福創業微利貸款」計畫，將資金用在改善用餐空間以及換裝空調設備，提供顧客一個更舒服的用餐環境。「要細水長流經營，就必須面面俱到，」陳銘勇夫婦對於未來，除了堅持品質永遠是餐飲業的第一要務，未來會朝向開放加盟經營，並致力於品牌打造，。
